Mortgage Prequalification: Baton Rouge, West Baton Rouge and Prairieville/Ascension Parish Louisiana home buying, real estate listings, and homes for sale in East Baton Rouge Parishes, LA
Welcome to Baton Rouge Real Estate > For Buyers > Mortgage Prequalification ...

Don't Go Shopping for a New Home Before You Know Exactly How Much You Can Spend, and as important in recent months, Before You Know What Kind of Loan You will Qualify For! With so many foreclosures all over the country in recent years, there are a lot of requirements that a home must meet to "qualify" for certain loan types.

You might have an idea of the loan payment and mortgage you can afford, but will the bank feel otherwise? It's always best to pre-qualify for a mortgage so you know exactly how much a financial institution would be willing to lend you

In the pre-qualification process, you will find out:

- Exactly how much home or land you can afford.

- How much cash you will need for the down payment.

- The minimum down payment, and advantages of higher down payments.

- What the bank feels you can afford for a monthly payment.

I help buyers pre-qualify for mortgages every day. Simply fill out the form below to get started

Your Privacy! I know this is your personal information, and I will not distribute it to anyone, unless you wish me to send it along to a mortgage lender. This service is provided free of charge and without any obligation. It is part of my job, and I do hope when you are ready to buy, that you will request that I be the one to represent your best interest in the purchase!

Once you fill out the form, I will quickly process your information and get right back to you! Make sure to indicate in the Additional Info Box that you would like more information on financing or if you wish a personal consultation with me.

I can help you pre-qualify for your mortgage, and get you to some great lenders. This is a free service and without any obligation on your part. Also by filling out the form below with as much information as you can provide about your desired home purchase, I can send you homes on the market in your price range. PLEASE INCLUDE IN THE "Additional Info" Box where you are interested in living.
This can be anywhere in:

Real Estate Tips
Radon >Reducing Indoor Air Pollution

Air pollution is a fact of life in the 21st century. Reducing our use of pollutants will improve the environment and the health of those who live on our planet. But what about indoor air pollutants? The air quality inside your home affects you too, especially since most people spend more time indoors than outdoors.

Indoor air pollutants include elemental particles and gases produced by wood smoke and propane gas ranges. Some building materials, home furnishings and cleaning products emit toxic organic chemicals like formaldehyde that can contribute to poor indoor air quality. Outdoor pollutants such as radon gas from the soil under your home, carbon monoxide and nitrogen dioxide from the vehicles that drive by or pesticides from your neighbor's orchard can also seep inside your house.

How can you reduce the risk of negative health effects from indoor air pollution? First, check the contents of the household products you use, and always open the windows if there are warnings about fumes. You can buy a relatively inexpensive detector for indoor toxic emissions at your local hardware store. If air exchange is poor inside your home, consider installing a mechanical ventilation system that will maintain a healthy flow of air and filter out pollutants.

Re/Max First
Each Office Independently Owned and Operated

Living in the Baton Rouge area since the age of 5 (I won't tell you how long ago that was) has offered me the advantage of knowing this area very well. From a very early age, I took note of the unique history and architecture of Baton Rouge, which later manifested into an interest in the real estate market here. I've been blessed to be a yearly multimillion dollar producer for my entire 15 years with the Re/Max System and in 2008 I was inducted into the Re/Max Hall of Fame. As a Residential Specialist and Accredited Buyer Representative, my twenty-five years of experience in the real estate industry in Baton Rouge lends the stability people prefer in a Realtor. My motto is "Excellent Service is My Commitment", and it is truly the manner in which I conduct my business. I have come to understand over the years that no two buyers, sellers, homes, or transfers are exactly alike. Therefore at the "core" of my marketing strategy is taking into consideration the individuals involved. This "mission statement" has proven to serve my career and clients well, with more than half of my business being repeat clients and clients who refer their friends and family to me. It has been my professional priviledge to be many of my client's "Realtor for Life". Call or email me today and let's put my expertise to work for your next real estate transaction!
