A "Listing Presentation" is an industry term for the formal presentation that a REALTOR® makes to prospective home sellers, trying to earn their trust and business. THE INTERVIEW - the portion of this meeting that gives you the opportunity to learn how I conduct my business, and ask me questions or voice concerns. It is much like any "interview", as it helps you decide if you wish to hire me for the job of representing your best interest in your home sale.
MY LISTING PRESENTATION WILL INCLUDE:
MY INTRODUCTION, which is my opportunity to let you know more about myself and how I conduct my business. We will discuss such topics as the Agency Law of Louisiana, the Fiduciary Relationship formed with a client-agent contract and to let you know that my commitment to excellent service and representation is the "mission statement" of my business.
THE MARKETING STRATEGYis the detailed plan I have for where and how I will advertise, promote, and network the listing of your home to the market, in order to optimize the most exposure.
You and I together will do A WALK THROUGH of your home and property. This gives you the opportunity to point out special features and ammenities of your home to me. It is also a time for us to discuss any repairs, clean up, or tidying that can be done to enhance the appeal to buyers.
THE COMPARATIVE MARKET ANALYSIS portion of the presentation will be my estimate of your home's market value. I base this analysis on facts, such as homes on the market and recently sold properties in your neighborhood, but also on recent changes in the market atmosphere and interest rates. It is my job to stay abreast of what is going on in the market, as changes up or down can have a direct effect on property values.
